UFC on FX 4 is this Friday and will be coming to fans live from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The action will be live on FX this Friday night and the main card looks better than the PPV card on Saturday this weekend. UFC on FX 4 Main Event Odds & Predictions
- Clay Guida +285 vs. Gray Maynard -325
Clay Guida (29-12) has a tough fight against Gray Maynard (10-1-1) this weekend in the main event. Maynard had a rough 2011, as he had a draw and loss against Frankie Edgar, but he’ll be back in the cage Friday night. Guida has such a relentless pace that it’s hard for any fighter to keep up with him and the longer this fight lasts the better shot Guida has at pulling off the big upset.
Guida hasn’t been in the cage since losing to Benson Henderson at UFC on Fox 1 last year. Guida only lost by decision to Benson and before that Guida had beaten the likes of Pettis, Gomi and Anjos. Guida can win this fight if he keeps the pace going during the entire fight. Clay has a solid chin and I think he’ll be able to weather the early storm against Maynard.

- Sam Stout -295 vs. Spencer Fisher +260
Canadian Sam Stout (17-7-1) will be fighting Spencer Fisher (24-8) for the 3rd time. Stout won the 1st fight, but Fisher won the 2nd fight and now the two will fight in a rubber match. Fisher has struggled in the cage lately and Stout should win. Stout shouldn’t get knocked out by Fisher and Stout should be able to pick up a decision victory. Apparently this could be Fisher’s last fight, so expect a solid effort from him, but in the end you can’t go against Stout in this match-up.
- Ross Pearson -196 vs. Cub Swanson +176
Here is another fight where the value sides with the underdog in my opinion. Cub Swanson (16-5) is fresh of a win over Roop and I think he has a legitimate shot at beating Pearson. Ross Pearson (13-5) dropped down to featherweight after losing to Barboza and he picked up a win in his 1st fight at the new weight class against Assuncao. Pearson barely won the fight though and I like Swanson in this fight although he needs to be cautious because Pearson definitely has the edge in power.
- Brian Ebersole -255 vs. T.J. Waldburger +215
Brian Ebersole (49-14-1) has won his last 10 fights including a 3-0 record in the UFC. Ebersole is only 31 and has tons of experience plus he has been making bank for bettors. T.J. Waldburger (15-6) is 3-1 in the UFC with his only loss against Hendricks. TJ has won his last two fights by submission and he may be able to pull off an upset and submit Ebersole, as he has been submitted 9 times in his career. Ebersole has the edge in striking and experience, which leads me to believe that he’ll win this match.
