UFC on Fox 11 Predictions
The UFC is back in the United States this weekend for UFC on Fox 11 at the Amway Center in Orlando. All four of the main card fights should be great and they’re available for free on Fox, but the fight I want to see the most is Dos Anjos vs. Nurmagomedov.

Best Bets for UFC on Fox 11
- Bet Nurmagomedov to Win by Decision –105 (5Dimes) vs. Dos Anjos
Khabib Nurmagomedov (21-0) is now 5-0 in the UFC and he has looked like a star. Rafael Dos Anjos (20-6) is a veteran that has now won five fights in a row including wins over Dunham and Cerrone. This fight will be close, but the Eagle will win by decision.
Nurmagomedov will be able to take Dos Anjos down to the mat and that’ll be the difference. The last two times Dos Anjos has lost (Tibau & Guida) he lost the takedown battle. Both fighters have great defense, but the Russian is younger and has been unstoppable.
- Bet Edson Barboza –117 (SportBet) vs. Donald Cerrone
Donald Cerrone (22-6) has looked great in his last two fights, as he has won both by stoppage. I always enjoy watching Cowboy fight because he’s exciting, but his willingness to stand and bang with opponents is what’ll cost him against Edson Barboza (13-1).
Barboza has an excellent stand-up game where he mixes in powerful leg kicks often. Cerrone is going to eat a lot of leg kicks and I’m not sure he’ll be willing to take the fight to the ground where he would have an edge. This will likely be FOTN on Saturday night.
- Bet on Liz Carmouche +184 (Pinnacle) vs. Miesha Tate
Most handicappers are betting on Miesha Tate (13-5) to bounce back after losing two in a row and three of her last four fights. She has a chance to beat Liz Carmouche (9-4) by submission, as Carmouche has been tapped twice, but one was against Rousey.
Tate will try to take this fight to the ground and win by submission, but I like the power Carmouche brings to the table. She was able to knockout Andrade last year. If she can keep Tate standing she’ll have a great chance and these odds are too big to pass up.
- Bet Travis Browne –200 (BetDSI) vs. Fabricio Werdum
Travis Browne (16-1-1) has been on a tear with three consecutive KO wins including one over Overeem. Browne brings power to the table and he’ll come out swinging against Fabricio Werdum (17-5-1) who has only been KO’ed once in his career (JDS).
The main concern I have is that Browne doesn’t go deep in a fight often and his cardio may be poor. Werdum never stops, which was evident in his decision win over Roy Nelson. I just don’t think Werdum is going to have much success early and Browne will connect.
- Bet Mein / Alves / Nurmagomedov Parlay +121 (Pinnacle)
- Bet Nurmagomedov / Browne Parlay +110 (Pinnacle)
My two main parlays this weekend are listed above. I’m not getting crazy with these or anything, but I’m confident that they’ll win and pick us up a couple units of profit. The Russian hasn’t let me down yet and I don’t think he’s going to lose his first fight this week.
