UFC Fight Night 77

UFC Fight Night 77 is on this weekend and is back in Sao Paulo, Brazil with an exciting fight card. Vitor Belfort is fighting Dan Henderson for the 3rd time, both guys famous for the knockouts I dont think this one is going 5 rounds and in the light heavyweight division Glover Teixeira is fighting Patrick Cummings, an excellent fight both really skilled fighters. UFC Fight Night 77 – Belfort vs Henderson 3 Predictions

Best Bets for UFC Fight Night 77 – Scott Jack

• Bet Vitor Belfort by TKO/KO -180 (5Dimes) vs. Dan Henderson

Well, Dan Henderson (31-13) did just knockout Boetsch in 28 seconds, but he only has two wins in his last seven fights. Vitor Belfort (24-11) lost to Weidman in his last fight, but he had won three in a row prior.

One of those wins was a first round KO against Hendo. I don’t expect this fight to last more than a round and I expect Belfort get the knockout again. Henderson is well past his prime and seven years older than Belfort.

• Bet Alex Oliveira -206 (Unibet) vs. Piotr Hallman

Alex Oliveira (12-3-1) lost his UFC debut to Burns, but has won his last two fights. He has great takedowns and he has landed eight in his last two wins. Piotr Hallman (15-4) has a tendency to be taken down a lot.

I’m going to pay up and bet Oliveira on the money line, as it’s hard to predict how the fight will finish. Oliveira has the potential to stop Hallman once on the mat or he may end up grinding out a victory.

• Bet Gleison Tibau -115 (BetOnline) vs. Abel Trujillo

I’m looking forward to the fight between Gleison Tibau (33-11) and Abel Trujillo (12-6). Trujillo has some power, but Tibau has only been knocked out once since 2007 and that was against Michael Johnson.

Both fighters lost their last fight by submission against Ferguson. Tibau has a considerable takedown edge and Trujillo is notoriously bad at stopping takedowns (36% TDD). Tibau should be able to grind out a win here.

• Bet Chas Skelly vs. Kevin Souza ITD -140 (SportBet)

I think we’re getting a price on Chas Skelly (14-1) and Kevin Souza (15-3) not going to decision. These two guys are both finishers – Skelly has 10 stoppage victories and Souza has 14 stoppage victories.

Souza has won ten fights in a row and nine have been by knockout, including his last two UFC fights. Skelly has finished two of his last three UFC opponents. There’s no way these two end up going the distance.

• Bet Belfort ML + Teixeira ML + Almeida ML + Oliveira ML Parlay (+185) at (Unibet)

There are some big money line favorites on this fight card that should hit for parlay bettors. Belfort and Teixeira are both big favorites. Teixeira is fighting Cummins and should have no problem winning the fight.

Almeida is fighting Birchak who is just 1-1 in the UFC. Almeida has not only fought tougher competition, but he still has never lost. Another parlay option is to add Corey Anderson who is a big favorite against Maldonado.
