The UFC is heading to the Philippines on Saturday. The event will be on in the morning in North America, so make sure you place your bets Friday night or you’ll likely miss out. I like the fight card this weekend, but I’m not happy about having to wake up early.

UFC Fight Night 66 Best Bets – Scott Jack

• Bet Frankie Edgar by Decision -135 (5 Dimes) vs. Urijah Faber

Frankie Edgar (18-4-1) has won three fights in a row since losing to Aldo back in 2012. His last two wins have been by stoppage over Penn (TKO) and Swanson (Sub). Urijah Faber (32-7) lost to Barao by TKO in 2014, but bounced back with two wins by submission.

I don’t think Edgar will be able to finish Faber, but I expect him to win. Edgar averages 2.71 TD’s per 15 minutes and he just had 7 TD’s in his win over Swanson. Faber has 58% TD defense and he’ll be put on his back a few times in this fight.

• Bet Yui Chul Nam -165 (5 Dimes) vs. Phillipe Nover

I can’t believe Phillipe Nover (10-5-1) is back in the UFC. You may remember he went 0-3 years ago. Now he has a few wins against nobody fighters and he’s back in the UFC. Well I can’t complain – I’ll just be betting on Yui Chul Nam (18-4-1).

Nam won a split decision over Tokudome in his UFC debut. He dominated the striking, but was taken down 3 times. Nover isn’t likely to work many TD attempts, which benefits Nam. Nam should pick apart Nover in the stand-up and win by decision.

• Bet Neil Magny -120 (Pinnacle) vs. Hyun Gyu Lim

Neil Magny (14-3) is 6-0 since last year. The fact he has fought six times in that span is incredible – yet alone win all of those fights. Three of his last four fights have ended by stoppage, so he’s only getting better and he’s in his prime at 27 years old.

Hyun Gyu Lim (13-4-1) is 1-2 in the UFC with a loss against Saffiedine. His two wins have both been first round knockouts, so Magny has to respect his power. However, Magny can switch up levels really well and I don’t think Lim has what it takes yet to win here.

• Bet Jon Tuck -150 (Bet365) vs. Tae Hyun Bang

Jon Tuck (8-2) is 2-2 in the UFC. He has losses against Parke and Lee, while he has wins against Zhang and Lindsey. Tuck really can’t afford losing to Tae Hyun Bang (17-8). Bang is 1-1 in the UFC after winning his last fight over Johnson by KO.

Neither fighter has much of a ground game. Tuck attempts the odd TD, while Bang hasn’t attempted any in his two UFC fights. I believe this fight will be fought standing up and Tuck has the striking edge. He has a 2” reach edge and lands way more strikes.

• Bet Edgar by Dec + Magny + Nam Parlay +392 (5 Dimes)

Edgar by decision, Magny ML and Nam ML are my three best bets on the UFC Fight Night 66 card. I’m rolling with these three on my main parlay and it pays just under 4/1 odds. I’ll also be adding another parlay with these three bets, plus Tuck ML.
