Middleweights, Michael “the Count” Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller competed as coaches on the show and will now meet inside the octagon. Bisping is a UFC veteran riding a 3 fight winning streak, with wins in 4 of his last 5. Jason Miller is returning to the company after competing in Strikeforce, Dream, WEC and a number of smaller promotions. He is currently riding a 2 fight winning streak, defeating Japanese legend Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16 in his last appearance.

Michael Bisping has long claimed that he is deserving of a Middleweight title shot, but has seen multiple fighters pass him by while he patiently waits his turn. Many doubters point to Bisping’s lack of wins over top 10 competition, even though he has defeated a number of talented fighters and done so convincingly. Dana White has stated that if Bisping puts a couple more wins together it will be hard to not give him his shot at the Middleweight King Pin Anderson Silva.

The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale Preview

Ultimate Fighter 13 Winner, Tony Ferguson will return to action in search of his 3rd consecutive win in the UFC. Veteran Yves Edwards will oppose Ferguson looking to earn his second consecutive win. Edwards once consider an elite member of the lightweight division, has managed to stay relevant despite his age, winning 4 of his past 5 fights and 7 of 9. Both men are known for their striking power with a combined 23 wins by knockout. If these fighters hold true to their talents this matchup could very well earn a fight of the night or knockout of the night bonus.

The rest of the card is still to be determined, with the exception of two fighters. Dennis Bermudez has earned himself a spot in the featherweight finals, while Team Alpha Male product T.J. Dillashaw awaits his opponent for the Bantamweight finals.

In the final episode of the show Brazilian knockout artist Diego Brandao and grappling ace Bryan Caraway will battle for the opportunity to meet Bermudez. Bantamweights Johnny Bedford and John Dodson will also go to war on the final episode with a matchup against Dillashaw on the line.

The rest of the Finale line-up will be announced following the conclusion of the final show and for the most part expect cast members to dominate the matchups as the UFC looks to add depth to their lighter division.
