Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale Betting Odds
There is a doubleheader in the UFC this weekend. Make sure you check out our UFC on FX 6 picks, which is on Friday. After that the TUF 16 Finale is on Saturday and the main card has some excellent fights. The finale will be hosted in Las Vegas like usual. I can’t wait for this weekend, as there are plenty of great fights over two nights of betting action right before Christmas.
Latest TUF 16 Finale Odds & Picks
Editors Choice > Roy Nelson / Mike Ricci parlay $$$$
- Roy Nelson -210 (BetDSI) vs. Matt Mitrione +201 (Pinnacle)
Roy Nelson (17-7) was supposed to fight Shane Carwin in the main event, but an injury has Carwin out right now. Matt Mitrione (5-1) will now take on Big Country and this fight should be awesome. Nelson won his last fight by KO over Herman and Mitrione lost his 1st fight in his career last time out against Kongo. I’m going with Nelson to win this fight by TKO/KO on Saturday.
- Mike Ricci -190 (BetOnline) vs. Colton Smith +230 (Bovada)
Mike Ricci (7-2) is my prediction to win the TUF 16 Finale. Colton Smith (3-1) has been knocked out once already and Ricci has a lot of power in his punches. Smith will try to work his takedowns and stay in the clinch with Ricci, but I don’t think he’s going to have much luck taking down the Canadian. Ricci may have hated the house, but this is his time to shine on Saturday night.
- Shane Del Rosario -185 (Bovada) vs. Pat Berry +175 (BetOnline)
Shane Del Rosario (11-1) and Pat Berry (7-5) meet on Saturday as well at the TUF 16 Finale. Pat Berry has 1 win in his L4 fights and my money is definitely on Del Rosario who is the better striker. This fight is going to stay standing up and if it does Del Rosario is going to win by TKO/KO. Barry has been KO’ed twice including a KO loss in his last fight against Lavar Johnson at UFC on FOX 3.
- Jamie Varner -110 (BetOnline) vs. Melvin Guillard +110 (Bovada)
Melvin Guillard (30-11-2) has lost 3 of his L4 fights with two losses by submission and one loss by KO. Guillard hasn’t looked that good in the cage and Jamie Varner (20-7-1) is a tough match-up. Varner lost his last fight to Lauzon by submission, but this time around I think Varner is going to win by sub. Varner has 11 wins by submission and Guillard has been submitted 9 times.
- Dustin Poirier -215 (BetDSI) vs. Jonathan Brookins +230 (Bovada)
Dustin Poirier (12-2) and Jonathan Brookins (13-5) will kick-off the main card at TUF 16 this weekend. Both fighters just lost their last fight with Poirier losing to Chan Sung Jung by submission and Brookins losing to Oliveira by submission. Both fighters are good on the ground and I expect to see multiple submission attempts in this fight. I like the value on Brookins at +230 odds. [/tabs_panel] [tabs_panel title=”Video Picks”]
