UFC on FX 3: Johnson vs McCall 2 Betting Odds
The UFC is in Florida this weekend for UFC on FX 3. This free event doesn’t have many big names on the fight card, but don’t let that stop you from watching the fights on Friday night. If you watched UFC on FX 2 you’ll definitely want to watch the rematch between Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall in the main event tomorrow night.

UFC on FX 3 Odds & Predictions
- Demetrious Johnson -145 vs. Ian McCall +125
These two guys fought each at UFC on FX 2 and the fight was ruled a majority draw. These two will be back in the cage for the 1st time since their last encounter and I’m sure both fighters have made adjustments. I think Johnson will be able to make the right adjustments to win this fight. Demetrious needs to work on his takedown defence and if he can do that he should be able to keep the fight standing where he showed us last time out that he has an edge over McCall.
- Erick Silva -180 vs. Charlie Brenneman +158
Brenneman is a good wrestler, but Silva should be able to get in the win column. Silva was robbed in his last fight with a DQ for striking in the back of the head and I think he’ll be anxious to fight again. Silva is the better stand-up fighter and as long as he can limit Brenneman from taking him down too much he’ll win by TKO/KO. Brenneman was knocked out by Johny Hendricks and Anthony Johnson in the past couple years and I think Silva will win by knockout.
- Mike Pyle -190 vs. Josh Neer +165
Neer is much younger than Pyle, but Neer has also fought in way more fights. Pyle has more UFC experience however, but he has never been able to beat anyone important in the division. Pyle wins the easy fights, but against a fighter that is as good as Josh Neer he’ll struggle. Neer has nice power and he’s a tough fighter on the ground, as he showed against Ludwig. Pyle has 16 career submissions and Neer has been submitted 4 times in the past, but I’m betting on Neer to come through with a win.
- Scott Jorgensen -240 vs. Eddie Wineland +200
Jorgensen won his 1st couple UFC fights, but lost his last fight against Pegado. Wineland on the other hand has lost both of his UFC fights and needs to win this fight badly. Wineland needs to put everything he has into this fight and I think we might see Wineland win this fight early with a big TKO/KO. Wineland has beaten some fighters like George Roop before coming over to the UFC in the WEC merger, but he needs to step-up and win this weekend. I’ll take one last shot on him at +200 odds.
My best bet on the UFC on FX 3 card tomorrow night is Erick Silva. Brenneman has been inconsistent in the UFC and Silva needs a win. At -180 odds I think we’re getting some value on Silva. He looked great in his last fight until he got DQ’ed and I think he’s the best bet on the main card. Johnson would be my 2nd pick if you want to bet on a parlay.
