UFC 289: Nunes vs. Aldana
The UFC returns this weekend for UFC 289 and it will be live on PPV from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Amanda Nunes will put her UFC Bantamweight title on the line in the main event against Irene Aldana. Naturally Nunes is the favorite in this fight at -325 with Aldana coming in as the +255 underdog. It does seem like this will be another notch on Nunes belt but you never know, Julianna Pena did shock the world and beat her only 2 fights ago. In the co-main event, the former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira will be a slight +125 underdog against Beneil Dariush who is the -155 favorite. He is currently on an 8 fight win streak and this is a closley matched fight right at the top of the 155lb division. The rest of the fight card is looking alright with well matched close fights. Chris Curtis and Nassourdine Imavov will headline the ESPN prelims on from 7pm ET then we will go live on PPV from 10.
