UFC 288 Sterling vs. Cejudo

UFC 288 is on PPV this Saturday night, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will see the UFC Bantamweight title on the line. The champion Aljamain Sterling will make his second title defense against the former champion Henry Cejudo, who has been retired for the last 3 years. He is one of the very best fighters we have seen in the UFC winning both the Bantamweight and Flyweight titles, and the youngest ever American Olympic Gold medalist in wrestling all the way back in 2008. 3 years is a long time in fighting, we will get to see this Saturday does can he still challenge at the top of MMA. The odds for this fight is a pick’em with Cejudo the slight -120 favorite to AJ’s -105 underdog status. It should be a good close fight. In the co-main event, its one of the best fights on the card and will see Belal Muhammad fight as a slight +105 underdog, against the -125 favorite Gilbert Burns. This is a great fight and I think the winner should get the next shot at the UFC Welterweight title, but that does look like it is going to Colby Covington but you never know, a good showing here could get the next shot at that 170lb title. The rest of the UFC 288 Fight Card is well matched, no huge favorites with the books, Drew Dober will be the -210 favorite against Matt Frevola, who is the +175 underdog in the main fight on the prelims. This kicks off tomorrow night from 6pm, with the main card on PPV from 10pm. It should be a good night of fights.
