UFC 194 Aldo vs McGregor – Weidman vs Rockhold

Its finally happing. UFC 194 will see Conor McGregor take on Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight title, a fight I think all of us cant wait to see. Im an Irish guy so I really wanna see Conor take this belt, there are so many good fights for him if he does, so many more massive nights. The guy makes me cringe at times (check out the UFC GO BIG Presser), hes very good but god get over yourself, kind of like Bono if you get me – were not all like him you know! I really want to see him win this title it will be good for all of us that enjoy big fight nights. UFC 194 will also have Luke Rockhold face Chris Weidman for the UFC Middleweight Title, a fight good enough to carry a show itself. The UFC is spoiling us with this upcoming weekend, as always here is the odds and predictions.

UFC 194 – UFC Middleweight & Featherweight Titles Betting Predictions

UFC 194 Best Bets – Scott Jack

  • Conor McGregor -110 (5Dimes) vs. Jose Aldo

Conor McGregor (18-2) is 6-0 in the UFC and has a chance to finish what he has said he’d do, and that’s finish off the featherweight division. Jose Aldo (25-1) is 7-0 in the UFC and he hasn’t lost a fight in over a decade.

McGregor will have a 4” reach advantage and he will come out striking. He averages 5.44 SLpM compared to Aldo at 3.29 SLpM. Aldo has better defense, but I don’t think he’s mentally ready to fight the Irishman.

  • Chris Weidman -130 (Unibet) vs. Luke Rockhold

A lot of bettors like Luke Rockhold (14-2) to pull off the upset against Chris Weidman (13-0). Rockhold has four stoppage wins in a row against some of the best fighters in the middleweight division.

Rockhold is going to come out looking for the submission, but I expect Weidman to win by TKO/KO. He hits like a truck and Rockhold has been knocked out twice before, including in his UFC debut against Belfort in 2013.

  • Yoel Romero +130 (Unibet) vs. Ronaldo Souza

Ronaldo Souza (22-3-0-1) is 5-0 since joining the UFC and four of those wins were by stoppage. Jacare will look to take this fight to the mat, but his TD accuracy isn’t great (47%) and Yoel Romero (10-1) has 71% TD defense.

Romero has solid wrestling and he has KO power. If this fight stays upright, Romero has an edge. He averages 3.51 SLpM (55% Accuracy), while Souza averages 2.20 SLpM (42% Accuracy). Romero has had better wins too.

  • Demian Maia vs. Gunnar Nelson O2.5 Rounds -190 (5Dimes)

Demian Maia (21-6) and Gunnar Nelson (14-1-1) are both excellent grapplers. Both fighters have 10 submission wins in their career and both are coming off a submission win. This is going to be an all out war.

Nelson has the better striking, but he leaves himself open for punishment and Maia has solid defense. I don’t expect neither to land a knockout, which is why I’m betting on over 2.5 rounds. This may end up as a SD.

UFC 194 Parlay

  • Holloway ML + Faber ML + Lee ML + Mustafaev ML (+111) at Bet365

There are a number of close fights on the main card and several of those fights could go either way. I’ll have some nice paying parlays using my four picks above, but my best parlay bet heads in a different direction.

My two banker bets on parlay at UFC 194 are Max Holloway (14-3) to beat Jeremy Stephens (24-11) and Urijah Faber (32-8) to beat Frankie Saenz (11-2). Holloway hasn’t lost since 2013 against McGregor.

Holloway has seven wins in a row and six of those are by stoppage. Faber is coming off a 5-round decision loss to Edgar earlier this year, but he should be able to dominate Saenz in this match-up.

I’m also betting on Kevin Lee (11-1) to beat Leonardo Santos (14-3-1) and Magomed Mustafaev (12-1) to beat Joe Proctor (11-3). Both fights are on the prelim, so make sure you get your bets in early on Saturday.
