UFC 157 Fight of the Night

UFC 157 is just a couple of hours away and the Fight of the Night odds have been released. Usually we grab ours from BetDSI but it does not look like they released them for this so we got them from 5 Dimes – One of the best for UFC Betting!

The odds on these look pretty good, you could bet 3 fights here and still make a nice profit so lets look at who I think has a shout for getting the UFC 157 Fight of the Night.

Faber vs Menjivar @ 4.85 (+385) – These guys fought before when Faber was much younger. I think this will be a very exciting fight as both guys love to bring it. Im also thinking of taking a bet on Faber to win by Submission which you can get around 6.0 (+500).

Henderson vs Machida @ 4.75 (+375) – These guys are fighting for a shot at the light heavyweight title so both should bring it. Machida is a big favorite with the sportsbooks but Dan Handerson should not be counted out, if he catches you with that big right hand its lights out! Machida is also a southpaw which as we have seen in the past is susceptible to such a shot but then again he is a very elusive fighter. Worth nothing, Dan Henderson has never been knocked out but has been submitted just a few times and a couple of those times have been against Anderson Silva and Big Nog – Yes Machida’s training partners, he is around 10.0 (+900) to get the submission. Honestly this fight has a good chance to go 3 rounds and if it does its in with a great shout for picking up the FOTN.

Carmouche vs Rousey – @ 5.75 (+475) – If you have not seen Ronda Rousey fight before you are in for a show, this lady is a specialist and her specialty is arm bars, she is just awesome at them, if you look at her odds to win by submission they suck bad, no real point in betting it but if Liz Carmouche can survive a couple of rounds this fight has a great shout for getting the nod. I see Ronda Rousey winning this by submission but if she leaves it until maybe round 3 it has a great shot at getting FOTN.
