UFC on Fox 13 Odds and Predictions

We have two great events on this weekend in the UFC. TUF 20 Finale is on Friday night and UFC on FOX 13 is on Saturday night, so there is plenty of action to bet on. I’ve posted my best bets from the two fight cards below including one big parlay with favorites. First though the Fight card and odds and later the video picks.

UFC on FOX 13 Best Bets

• Bet Matt Mitrione –144 (SportsBet) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

Matt Mitrione (8-3) already has two knockout wins in 2014 over Jordan and Lewis. Gabriel Gonzaga (16-8) is a step up in competition although he has a weak chin. Gonzaga has been knocked out six times in his career and Mitrione has found his power lately.

Mitrione has a considerable edge in striking, as he has a reach advantage (3’’), lands more strikes, is more accurate and has better stand-up defense. The only concern is Mitrione has poor TD defense (57%) and Gonzaga will look to take this fight to the ground.

• Bet Over 2.5 Rounds +145 (5Dimes) in Dos Santos vs. Miocic

I think that this line is completely off and I’ll gladly bet on the O2.5 rounds at plus money. Junior Dos Santos (16-3) has two recent losses against Velasquez, but other than that he hasn’t lost in the UFC. Stipe Miocic (12-1) only has one career loss against Struve.

Miocic is hot right now and he has won three fights in a row. Both fighters have power, but Miocic has a 3’’ reach edge plus he has a better ground game. Miocic is durable and JDS is unlikely to get an early finish. I expect JDS to win in the 4th or 5th round in this fight.

• Bet Diaz vs. Dos Anjos O2.5 + Overeem vs. Struve U1.5 Parlay –108 (Bovada)

Here is my first of two parlays this weekend. I’m betting on Nate Diaz (17-9) vs. Rafael Dos Anjos (22-7) to go over 2.5 round, as I feel that Diaz will be able to last the full three rounds, but Diaz can’t come into this fight underestimating the power of Dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos has two consecutive KO wins, but I like the fight to go the distance. I’m also on Alistair Overeem (37-14) vs. Stefan Struve (25-6) to last under 1.5 rounds. This fight should end in the opening round, as both fighters have a ton of power.

Weekend Parlay

There are some huge favorites on the two fight cards for UFC this weekend. I’ll be betting parlays heavily this weekend, as I expect a lot of the big favorites to win with ease. This is my best parlay and these fighters will be spread out across most of my parlays.
