UFC Fight Night 76 Betting Predictions

UFC Fight Night 76 Best Bets – Scott Jack

  • Patrick Holohan +103 (SportBet) vs. Louis Smolka

Patrick Holohan (12-1-1) and Louis Smolka (9-1) will now fight in the main event.

Holohan has gone 3-1 in the UFC and he has beaten Howell and Lee already in 2015. Smolka is also 3-1 in the UFC with one win in 2015 against Seery. Smolka has the better striking, but Holohan can win with takedowns.

Smolka has good takedowns, but his TDD is 27% compared to 60% TDD for Holohan. The Irish fighter will be in his home country and pumped up. This fight will go the distance and I like Holohan to steal it away from Smolka.

  • Darren Till +125 (Unibet) vs. Nicolas Dalby

Darren Till (13-0) and Nicolas Dalby (14-0) are both undefeated and 1-0 in the UFC. Dalby beat Santos by split decision earlier this year, while Till beat Marques in the second round by knockout – Till was more impressive.

Dalby is going to come out looking for takedowns like he did in his debut. Till has to avoid being taken down to often, but he has the edge in striking. He has power (9 TKO/KO Wins), he’s accurate and his defense is strong.

  • Darren Elkins -145 (Bet365) vs. Robert Whiteford

We’re getting a good price on Darren Elkins (18-5) to beat Robert Whiteford (12-2). Elkins has lost three of his last five fights, but Mendes, Stephens and Dias were the fighters he lost to and those are all tough opponents.

Robert Whiteford (12-2) is 2-1 in the UFC after winning his last two against Pineda and Redmond. Elkins is tough to beat, as he goes in for takedowns relentlessly. He’ll annoy Whiteford and end up winning by decision.

  • Scott Ashkam -135 (5Dimes) vs. Krzysztof Jotko

The Englishman Scott Ashkam (13-1) is 1-1 in the UFC after beating Santos Jr. by KO. Krzysztof Jotko (15-1) is 2-1 in the UFC with two decision wins, but he hasn’t been too impressive and relies on his takedowns too much.

Ashkam will win the stand-up battle and if he can stay on his feet, he’ll win. Jotko will attempt TDs, but I see him getting rocked in the clinch. We’re getting a good price on Ashkam – I also like Ashkam by TKO/KO.

I’ll be parlaying Ashkam and Elkins together, plus I’ll have a parlay with all four of my picks.
