Kamikaze Overdrive is back again with a double edition for all of your MMA prediction needs during an action packed week of MMA here at MMAbettingodds.com. On May 15, UFC on Fuel TV will be headlined by a Featherweight showdown between the ‘Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung and Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier. Jung is coming off back to back impressive victories; submitting Leonard Garcia with a rare twister submission and followed that victory with a 6 second knockout of Mark Hominick. Poirier has been on his own impressive run with 4 straight wins to start his UFC career. Arguably the winner of this match-up will get the next title shot against the winner of the recently signed Jose Aldo/ Erick Koch title fight.

UFC on Fuel TV 3 Betting Odds

UFC on Fuel TV Preview

Also on the card Amir Sadollah returns to action against Jorge Lopez and Donald Cerrone tries to recapture his moment against Jeremy Stephens. The main card is rounded out by an intriguing Bantamweight matchup between Canadian striker Yves Jabouin and BJJ Black belt Jeff Hougland, a Middleweight battle between veteran Jason MacDonald and Ultimate Fighter alumi Tom Lawlor, and a 205 pound clash of hard hitting Igor Pokrajac and talented pugilist Fabio Maldonado.

The prelims are highlighted by a battle between Rafael dos Anjos and Kamal Shalorus, along with appearances by Brad Tavares, TJ Grant, Jeff Curran and the always entertaining Cody McKenzie. UFC on Fuel TV takes place on a Tuesday Night so make sure to mark it down so you don’t miss out on this entertaining free night of fights.

If one major MMA event isn’t enough, Strikeforce: Barnett vs Cormier will take place only a few days later. The Main event will finally bring to conclusion the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament; Josh Barnett defeated Brett Rogers and Sergei Kharitonov to navigate his way to the finals while Daniel Cormier knocked off Jeff Monson in a non-tournament bout, took the place of Alistair Overeem and went on to defeat Antonio Silva in the semi-finals. A spot in the UFC and more importantly a shot at the UFC Heavyweight championship is potentially on the line in this bout, which should have both competitors ready to prove their worth when the opening bell rings.

Also on the card, Josh Thomson will try to clinch the finale of the three fight miniseries with Gilbert Melendez and in doing so snatch the Strikeforce Lightweight title away from El Nino. Currently tied at one win each, the winner of this fight will move closer to the top of the Lightweight Rankings and will immediately gain immediate recognition as a future contender in the UFC’s Lightweight division.

Prior to the co-main event Mike Kyle and Rafael Cavalcante will battle in out in a Light Heavyweight match-up, Nah-Shon Burrell takes on Chris Spang, veteran fighter JZ Cavalcante tries to return to form against Isaac Vallie-Flagg, Lightweights James Terry and Bobby Green lock up and Gian Villante squares off with Derrick Mehmen also in the 205 pound division.

The only thing better than one MMA event is two in a week and with the UFC and Strikeforce going off back to back there is a tonne of Mixed Martial Arts action to watch this coming week. Make sure you check out all of your MMA Prediction and Betting needs here at MMAbettingodds.com and over at Kamikazeoverdrive.net and as always enjoy the fights.

East Rutherford New Jersey will play host to the third episode of the UFC on FOX series, headlined by New Jersey’s own Jim Miller. Miller has been at the top of the UFC’s Lightweight division for the better part of three years, but a title shot as eluded the younger of the Miller brothers. His title aspirations took a significant hit when he suffered a three round decision defeat to now champion Ben Henderson. Miller will get another opportunity to earn his title shot, but he will be opposed by the fast rising Stockton native Nate Diaz. Diaz has earned back to backs wins over Takanori Gomi and Donald Cerrone, both in impressive fashion, launching Diaz into the title picture. Neither Diaz nor Miller have had the opportunity to ever challenge for UFC gold, so you can anticipate that both men will bring their ‘A’ game for this five round main event matchup.

Josh Koscheck has faced and lost twice to the current Champion George St-Pierre and if he has chance for a third meeting he has no room for error against Johny Hendricks. Hendricks was climbing the Welterweight ladder, but when he knocked out Jon Fitch in just twelve seconds he rocketed into the title conversation. If either man intends to lay claim to title contention this is a key fight in both their UFC futures and neither man can afford to take a step back.

The remaining two fights are a Heavyweight showdown between hard hitting Lavar Johnson and talented striker Pat Barry and in the Middleweight division submission assassin Rousimar Palhares meets the all around talented Alan Belcher. The preliminaries will feature a myriad of exciting matchups and at the top of the list will be a battle of former Ultimate Fighter contestants when Tony Ferguson meets Michael Johnson. Also on the undercard, John Dodson begins his UFC Flyweight career, European stars John Hathaway and Pascal Krauss clash, and former Heavyweight Karlos Vemola makes his Middleweight debut.

UFC on Fox 3 has the potential to be the best of Fox event to date, with so many can’t miss matchups this is a lineup of fights and a main event that has Fight of the Night written all over even the most casual fan should mark this event down on their calendar.

Atlanta Georgia will play host to the next major UFC event as UFC 145: Jones vs Evans takes center stage on April 21st 2012. In the main event the reigning Light Heavyweight Champ Jon ‘Bones’ Jones will attempt to defend his title for a third consecutive time as he takes on former Champion, training partner, and friend ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans. We have the latest live UFC Betting Odds and when they are released we list the latest Betting Odds for Fight, KO and Submission of the Night (UFC Prop Betting Odds) (select the Preview Tab to continue reading and view the video)

Video / Preview

This Title fight has been over a year in the making, starting with Rashad Evans being forced from his UFC 128 title shot against Shogun Rua only to be replaced by his then teammate and friend Jon Jones. Jones went on to defeat Shogun, capture the title, and start a yearlong saga with Evans making multiple appearances during Jones’s post fight interviews. The uncertainty of whether or not the teammates would fight each other quickly faded away as Evans made the decision to relocate from Greg Jackson’s camp to his own new camp and the animosity has only increased from there.

Despite facing elite competition throughout his UFC career, Rashad Evans is the most well rounded fighter that Jon Jones has encountered in his career and as a result the greatest threat to his title rein. With all of the hype, familiarity, and anticipation this battle has the makings of an instant classic you will not want to miss.

UFC 145 Video Preview and Predictions

The co-main event features a matchup of rising Canadian Welterweight Rory MacDonald and British knockout artist Che Mills. MacDonald was recently crowned the heir apparent to the Welterweight thrown by current champ and training partner Georges St-Pierre, but he will need to be careful to avoid sliding back down the ladder against the ever dangerous Mills. Che Mill’s failure to earn a spot on the Ultimate Fighter was only a minor setback as he has torn through the competition forcing the UFC to give him an opportunity and he didn’t disappoint knocking out Chris Cope in his debut. MacDonald nearly defeated current interim-champion Carlos Condit which must be in the back of his mind, but Che Mills is not the type of opponent to overlook. Fans can look forward to both men leaving it all in the cage while in pursuit of their ultimate goal.

The rest of the six fight main card is rounded out by a Bantamweight matchup between former WEC Champ Miguel Torres and Michael McDonald, a battle of Heavyweights with Ben Rothwell meeting Brendan Schaub, Featherweights Mark Hominick and Eddie Yagin squaring off, and an all Canadian Lightweight contest between John Alessio and Mark Bocek.

If the main card wasn’t enough, don’t miss out on an impressive series of undercard matchups. Travis Browne welcomes former Strikeforce Heavyweight Chad Griggs to the Octagon, Matt Brown returns to action against dangerous striker Stephen Thompson, John Makdessi meets Anthony Njokuani in a FOTN candidate, former Ultimate Fighter winners Efrain Escudero and Mac Danzig collide, along with the debuts of heavy handed Chris Clements and the ultra talented Maximo Blanco.

UFC 145 is loaded from top to bottom with talented fighters and interesting matchups. Make sure you catch all of the action this weekend and get your betting predictions information here at MMAbettingodds.com and Kamikazeoverdrive.net. Headlining the show, Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson will attempt to take another step up the Light Heavyweight ladder when he battles return veteran Thiago Silva. Silva is a dangerous opponent for anyone at 205, but he has been out of action since being suspended in early 2011. Prior to his suspension, Silva had been putting together his own run at the title but a pair of defeats against former champions Lyoto Machida and Rashad Evans slowed his progress. Gustafsson has compiled an impressive 5-1 record since signing with the UFC, most recently defeating Vladdy Matyushenko at UFC 141. Prior to signing with the UFC, Gustafsson was a perfect 4-0 while fighting at home in Sweden and will attempt to add to that record, but could be in tough against the Brazilian knockout artist. With a combined 20 knockout wins, the chances of this fight going the distance are minimal so make sure not to miss a minute from the opening bell.

The co-main event features a middleweight clash between the ultra-tough Brian Stann and the always entertaining Alessio Sakara. Prior to suffering an injury that has prevented him from competing since early 2011, Alessio had put together a solid 3-1 mark and will try to crack the division’s top 10 with a win over Stann. Brian Stann also suffered a setback in his last appearance, dropping a submission defeat against current #1 contender Chael Sonnen. Both Stann and Sakara are the type of fighters that always bring their A-game to the cage and fans should expect nothing less in this stellar co-main event.

The rest of the main card will feature the Featherweight debut of Dennis Siver as he tangles with the always entertaining Diego Nunes, a Bantamweight clash between Brad Pickett and Damacio Page, and two 170 pound clashes: Paulo Thiago versus Siyar Bahadurzada and DaMarques Johnson versus John Maguire.

The prelims feature a number of talented fighters including: James Head, Papy Abedi, Cyrille Diabate, and Jason Young. The undercard will also showcase a list of new talent that will be focussed on impressing the crowd and the UFC brass in their first Octagon appearances.

UFC on Fuel TV 2, also known as UFC: Sweden kicks off another exciting run of MMA as we move into the middle of 2012.
Fight Previews, Predictions & Video

Kicking things off on Friday the Octagon returns to Sydney, Australia for UFC on FX 2: Alves vs Kampmann. The card will be headlined by a Welterweight clash between former title challenger Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves and the last man to defeat the current interim-Welterweight Champion Martin ‘The Hitman’ Kampmann. With Georges St-Pierre sidelined by injury both competitors see this fight as an opportunity to position themselves in the hunt to become the next title challenger and as a result this match-up has Fight of the Night potential written all over it.

Also on the card will be the debut of the UFC Flyweight division (125lbs) in the form of a tournament to crown the weightclasses first champion. In the opening round former Bantamweight title contender Demetrious Johnson welcomes current Tachi Palace Fights Flyweight champ Ian McCall to the Octagon. McCall is currently ranked as the #1 Flyweight in the world, but will face a stiff test against Johnson who could immediately position himself at the top of the rankings with a victory. On the other side of the bracket another former Bantamweight contender Joseph Benavidez will meet Shooto 123 pound champ Yasuhiro Urushitani. Benavidez has been long considered the uncrowned Flyweight champion, but Urushitani (ranked #3 Flyweight) will put that theory to the test. The winners of these two bout will advance to the first ever UFC Flyweight Title fight at an event yet to be determined.

The rest of the UFC card is comprised of up and coming talent and battle tested veterans, including a Middleweight contest between Ultimate Fighter winner Court McGee and the hard hitting Constatinos Philippou. Make sure you mark this event on your calendar so you don’t miss UFC on FX 2, Friday March 2nd 2012.

If one event isn’t enough, Strikeforce returns to action with Strikeforce: Tate vs Rousey. Miesha Tate successfully wrestled the Bantamweight title away from former Champion Marloes Coenen with perfectly executed arm triangle choke. In he first title defense, Tate could be the one dodging submission attempts as 2008 Olympic Judo Bronze medalist Ronda Rousey brings her undefeated MMA record to challenge for the title. Rousey is a perfect 4-0 as a professional along with 3 more wins at the amateur level. Ronda has finished all of her fights by armbar submission and even more impressively she has yet to fight beyond the opening minute. Miesha Tate has a stiff test in front of her, but the veteran competitor has a tonne of experience and isn’t ready to relinquish her title to relative MMA rookie. These athletes will leave everything in the cage and promise to put on a show that even the most casual MMA fan will enjoy.

Josh Thomson and K.J. Noons will clash in a Lightweight battle with a shot at the champ, Gilbert Melendez, on the line. Both men have held gold before with Noons capturing the EliteXC Welterweight title and Thomson defeating Melendez earlier in his career to take hold of the Strikeforce title.
Also on the card, former Middleweight champ Jacare Souza returns to action, British basher Paul Daley meets Pride veteran Kazuo Misaki, and the always entertaining Scott Smith jumps back up to the middleweight division. Prior to the main card the televised prelims will be headlined by an interesting Lightweight battle between veteran Pat Healy and rising contender Caros Fodor.

February 25th, 2012 marks the return of the UFC to the land of the rising sun, 12 years after the Octagon’s last appearance in Japan for UFC 29. ‘UFC 29: Defense of the Belts’ featured two titles fights as Tito Ortiz defended his Light Heavyweight title and Pat Miletich successfully put his Lightweight title on the line. Frankie Edgar will look to mirror the success of Ortiz and Miletich when he faces Ben Henderson with his Lightweight title on the line in the main event of UFC 144. We have the latest live UFC Betting Odds and when they are released we list the latest Betting Odds for Fight, KO and Submission of the Night (UFC Prop Betting Odds) (select the Preview Tab to continue reading and view the video)

UFC 144 Preview

Frankie Edgar hopes to begin a new chapter of his career following a decisive win over rival Gray Maynard. With the win Edgar ended, at least for the time being, a three fight series with Maynard, along with bring to a close a near 2 year period that saw the Lightweight title tied up between Edgar, Maynard and former champ B.J. Penn. During this run, Frankie Edgar has defied the odds literally, with odds makers ranking him in as the underdog in both Penn fights, and his first defence against Maynard. Not until the his second title matchup with Gray did Frankie finally move into the role of favourite, and at UFC 144 not much has change with the champ only a slight betting fav over his opponent.

Former WEC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson lost his original opportunity to challenge for the UFC strap when he dropped his belt to Anthony Pettis at the final WEC event. Since that fight Ben has been on a mission, starting his UFC career with three consecutive wins over Mark Bocek, Jim Miller and finally Clay Guida to solidify his spot at UFC 144.

Edgar and Henderson are two of the most talented fighters in arguably the most competitive division in the UFC and this fight is shaping up to be a five round classic. Bolstering this world class main event will be a start studded card featuring a number of Japanese star and former members of the Japan based Pride Fighting Championships.

UFC 144 Priview and Predictions

In an interesting format change, UFC 144 will feature a seven fight main card. Former Pride superstar Rampage Jackson got his wish to return to Japan and will square off with Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader in the co-main event. Yoshiro Akiyama makes his welterweight debut against former Strikeforce title holder and UFC title challenger Jake Shield in front of what will certainly be a deafeningly pro-Akiyama crowd. Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis and Joe Lauzon will provide a stiff challenge to any other pair of fighters with a desire to earn Fight of the Night Bonus in their Lightweight clash. Hopeful 135 pound contenders Hatsu Hioki and Bart Palaszewski will meet and Tim Boetsch tries to build on a 2-0 start at Middleweight when he takes on top ranked Yushin Okami.

The prelims are highlighted by Japanese superstars Kid Yamamoto, Takanori Gomi, and Takeya Mizugaki. Yamamoto will attempt to grab his first UFC victory in his bout with the talented Vaughn Lee, Gomi meets fellow countryman Eliji Mitsuoka, and in potentially one of the more exciting but lesser talked about fights Mizugaki battles the ultra durable Chris Cariaso.

Top to bottom UFC 144 is a star studded event that even the most casual MMA fan should mark down on their calendar. Edgar/Henderson is almost certainly a classic the making and the rest of the card has a tonne of potential for both MMA action and betting opportunities with a couple of big time underdogs waiting to pay dividends.

On February 14th, 2012 the final piece of the Fox puzzle falls into place as the Octagon appears on Fuel TV for the first time. UFC on Fuel TV: Ellenberger vs Sanchez is headlined by a marquee Welterweight contested between Jake ‘The Juggernaut’ Ellenberger and Diego ‘The Dream’ Sanchez. We have the latest live UFC Betting Odds and when they are released we list the latest Betting Odds for Fight, KO and Submission of the Night (UFC Prop Betting Odds) *they might not have them for this midweek event*. (select the Preview Tab to continue reading and view the video)

UFC Fuel TV Betting Odds

UFC Fuel TV Preview

Ellenberger is fresh off an impressive knockout win over former title challenger Jake Shields that vaulted him into title contender status. Diego Sanchez returned to the 170lb division after failing to capture Lightweight gold and is currently riding a two winning streak with wins over Paulo Thiago and Martin Kampmann.

With the top of the division in flux, both have an opportunity with a win to move one step closer to an allusive title shot. Both Sanchez and Ellenberger have past history with the two men (Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit) currently at the top of the Welterweight ranks.

The co-main event will be a battle of behemoths as 6’11” Dutch trained kick boxer Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve hooks it up with 6’4” Dave ‘Peewee’ Herman. Herman won an entertaining matchup via TKO in his UFC debut, while the UFC’s tallest competitor earned another submission victory in his last trip to the cage. Both fighters currently rest outside of the top 10 Heavyweight rankings, but a dominant victory in this contest will propel the winner into the upper echelon of the division.

UFC Middleweights will be put on notice as Ronny Markes will try to build on his successful promotional debut when he defeated Karlos Vemola while fighting at Light Heavyweight. First up will be tough and talented veteran Aaron ‘A-Train’ Simpson. This fight will be a matchup of grapplers; Simpson a former NCAA Division I wrestler and Markes a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. Simpson has been a staple of the middleweight division, but a win for the young Brazilian would be a great starting point as he begins his Octagon career at 185lbs.

UFC on Fuel TV Priview and Predictions

The rest of the main card will be occupied by an encounter of undefeated heavyweights as Britain’s own Philip De Fries squares off with Stipe Miocic both fresh off of successful Octagon debuts. Starting the main card Ultimate Fighter finalist T.J. Dillashaw will try to rebound from his first career defeat when he takes on Walel Watson in a Bantamweight bout.

The prelims will be headlined by a Featherweight matchup featuring submission artist Vagner Rocha meeting Ultimate Fighter winner Jonathan Brookins. Also on the undercard, another TUF alum John Albert battles talented Canadian Ivan Menjivar in another matchup that displays the improving depth of the UFC’s lighter weight classes.

UFC on Fuel TV: Ellenberger vs Sanchez is a must see and do not forget that this event takes place on a Wednesday night, so mark it down on the calendar and don’t miss out. This card has some interesting betting potential with a few potential underdogs looming large.
UFC 143 Preview

This is not the first time the UFC has crowned an interim-Welterweight champion; in fact St-Pierre’s current title run began when he himself won the interim-170lbs title in a series of events eerily similar to scenario the division currently finds itself in.

UFC 83: St-Pierre recaptures the 170lbs title via TKO when he defeats Matt Serra in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec.

Since April 2008, the French-Canadian has dominated the UFC welterweight division with six successful title defences. On February 4th, 2012 a new name will move to the top of the Welterweight ranks as former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz battles former WEC Champion Carlos Condit for the UFC interim-Welterweight Championship.

Many people are already projecting this Welterweight clash as a Fight of the Year Candidate. Despite a stacked division, these two competitors are easily the most deserving challengers having combined for record 27-2-1 over their last 30 fights.

In their last trips to the Octagon, Diaz made a triumphant return to the UFC with a dominant performance against former Champion BJ Penn, while Carlos Condit stopped Dong Hyun Kim in the first round with a perfectly timed flying knee. Each man is a proven finisher with incredible cardio and heart and neither will be denied their spot at the top of the division. Whether this fight goes one minute or 5 rounds it is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

UFC 143 Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz – MMA Predictions Video

In the co-main event Roy Nelson welcomes Fabricio Werdum back to the UFC Heavyweight Division. Nelson is fresh off a win over Pride Legend Mirko Cro Cop while Werdum is only one fight removed from his upset of the year submission victory over another Pride legend in Fedor Emelianenko. With the talent in UFC Heavyweight roster at an all-time high this is a huge fight for both men as they look to remain in the hunt for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

The rest of the main card will feature former Welterweight title challenger Josh Koscheck taking on rising contender Mike Pierce, a Bantamweight title eliminator bout between Scott Jorgensen and Brazilian Renan Barao, and middleweights Ed Herman and Clifford Starks getting the main card started.

The preliminary card line-up is headlined by the return of top ranked Featherweight Dustin Poirier, a Bantamweight bout between Edwin Figueroa and Alex Caceres, and a matchup between Ultimate Fighter Alumni Matt Brown and Chris Cope.

Along with determining potential future title challengers in the Heavyweight, Featherweight, and Bantamweight divisions, UFC 143 will lay the ground work for one of the biggest fights in MMA history. With GSP eyeing a return in late 2012, one of either Nick Diaz or Carlos Condit will earn the right to attempt to unseed arguably one of the most dominant champions in the promotions history. This is one event that should not be missed and make sure to check out all of your UFC 143 predictions on the latest episode of Kamikaze Overdrive MMA Predictions.

UFC Fox2 Preview

On January 28th, the Fox Network and the UFC have put together the second major event of their broadcasting deal with UFC on Fox 2: Evans vs Davis.
In the main event, former Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans battles undefeated Phil Davis with a shot at the reining UFC 205lbs Champ Jon Jones on the line. Evans’s lone defeat came in his first title defence, but an impressive run has re-established Rashad at the top of the division. A long desired matchup with former teammate turned bad blood adversary Jon Jones has been in the works for the better part of a year, but injuries in both camps has prevented the fight from materializing.

Phil Davis, a former NCAA Division 1 wrestler has dominated his opposition with a 5-0 record inside the Octagon. He submitted fellow prospect Alexander Gustafson with an Anaconda Choke, tapped Tim Boetsch with a modified kimura, and earned a three round decision victory over highly respected veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

With a win and injury free performance Rashad Evans will get another shot at the title, while Davis may still need another top level victory, but if he were to finish Evans in impressive fashion it would be hard for the UFC brass to overlook him as a legitimate title challenger.

UFC on Fox 2 Preview and Predictions Video

The co-main event will have similar implications as Chael Sonnen attempts to get a rematch with Anderson Silva, the man that he dominated for almost a full 5 rounds before being tapped out. Opposing Sonnen will be England’s own Michael Bisping, who has felt his shot at the title is long overdue. This matchup could be the show stealer, and should provide some excellent trash talk in the week leading up to the fight.

Opening the main card Demian Maia and Chris Weidman will clash, as these two grappling aces will put their talents on display. Maia has already been to the top of the division and was forced back down the ranks while Weidman will be looking to use a win in this fight as his ticket up to the next level.

The eight fight preliminary line-up, includes a potential fight of the night between heavyweight scrappers Joey Beltran and Lavar Johnson, the Featherweight debut of the always exciting Charles Oliveira, a clash of lightweight grapplers Evan Dunham and Nik Lentz, the return of Jon Olav-Einemo as he attempts to end Mike Russow’s 10 fight winning streak, a battle between Featherweight contenders George Roop and Cub Swanson, and a whole host of other matchups including a few with betting underdog potential.

January 20th, 2012 the UFC returns to Friday nights for its first instalment of UFC on FX. The show will be headlined by Lightweight title contenders Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller squaring off. Both fighters had significant winning streaks snapped in their last Octagon appearances, but the winner of this matchup will re-establish them self at the top of the incredibly competitive UFC Lightweight division.

Melvin Guillard will be making his first appearance after leaving Greg Jackson’s camp and joining the Blackzillions. Melvin’s original move to Jackson’s camp began a resurgence in his career, and it will be interesting to see how he prepares both mentally and physically for Jim Miller.

The New Jersey native was on the cusp of a shot at the 155lbs title belt until he was derailed by now top contender and former WEC Champ Ben Henderson. Both Miller and Guillard bring a wealth of experience to the cage and with so much on the line fans can only expect these two competitors to bring their A-games.

UFC FX1 Preview

The co-main event will feature a pair of veteran welterweights looking to extend their winning streaks. Duane Ludwig put on a Muay Thai clinic against Amir Sadollah out striking his counterpart and hurting him several times. Josh Neer was equally as impressive winning his return to the using a series of elbows that resulted in a large laceration on his opponent’s forehead and a TKO victory. This matchup is an early favourite for Fight of the Night and will certainly be a fan favourite.

Rounding out the main card, Mike Easton welcomes Jared Papazain to the UFC Bantamweight division. Easton picked up an impressive victory in his own promotional debut, but Papazain is never one to shy away from a fight and will go toe to toe with the Hulk looking to his own UFC career off to a good start.

Kicking off the main card, Heavyweight striker Pat Barry crosses paths with Christian Morecraft. Despite recent setbacks both men always bring their best effort to the cage and there is no reason not to expect the same here. Will it be the elite level striking skills of Barry that carries the day or Morecraft’s crushing ground control and submission skills? We will have to wait until Friday to find out.
