Bellator 130 Emanuel Newton vs Linton Vassell Predictions
Bellator is heading to Mulvane, Kansas for Bellator 130 at the Kansas Star Arena. We have a title fight in the main event between Newton and Vassell. Let’s take a look at my best bets for the fight card, which includes a parlay and some SU bets.
- Bet Emanuel Newton vs. Linton Vassell O3.5 Rounds –105 (BetDSI)
Emanuel Newton (24-7-1) hasn’t lost since 2012 and he’s on a six fight winning streak. Linton Vassell (14-3-0-1) is on a nine fight win streak and he’s 3-0 in Bellator. Vassell has been KO’ed twice in his career, but Newton doesn’t really have a ton of power.
Newton only has 4 TKO/KO wins compared to 8 submissions wins and 12 decision wins. Vassell won’t be tapped out and this fight is likely to go the distance in my opinion. Over 3.5 rounds should hit easily. I like Newton to win, but the odds on him are poor.
- Bet Bobby Lashley vs. Karl Etherington O1.5 Rounds +180 (BetDSI)
Bobby Lashley (11-2) is a huge favorite coming into this fight and he used to be a professional wrestler. He’s a beast that has a ton of power. Karl Etherington (9-0) has won all of his fights by stoppage and all of them have come in the first round of the fight.
Lashley has a great submission game for a heavyweight, but I expect this fight to go over 1.5 rounds. It’ll be tough, but I think that Etherington will be able to keep himself out of being tapped out early in this one and at these odds I’ll be backing O1.5 round.
- Bet Aaron Derrow +154 (BetLion365) vs. Nate Jolly
Aaron Derrow (13-8) won his Bellator debut by submission, but prior to that he had lost five fights in a row. Nate Jolly (13-6) lost his Bellator debut by submission and he has been wildly inconsistent in his career. He really isn’t that good of a fighter.
Jolly isn’t much of a finisher and Derrow is a submission specialist that I think will be able to finish this fight. Either Jolly will win by decision of Derrow will lock in a submission. Jolly has been tapped twice and I like the odds on Derrow to win this fight.
- Bet Newton / Coenen / Hawn / Caldwell / Oropeza Parlay +258 (5Dimes)
I’m going with a few favorites for my parlay. It doesn’t pay much, but most of these favorites should win easily. Hawn and Newton are far from guarantees, but I’d say those are the toughest fights. The other three should win their fights fairly easily.
